Stretchmark

Assalammualaikum w.b.t.

It's normal to have strecthmark for a pregnant woman. Most pregnant woman will have that but some of them, who doesn't gain weight as much as I am, would have less mark. Which make them stay sexy until the end of the pregnancy.

Compared to me, I used to reduce it by rubbing my tummy especially the stretching area with olive oil. It really helps overcome the itchy feeling. Now after a few weeks I haven't done that, my tummy start to feel itchy I almost scratch it most of the time. It really makes me feel uncomfortable! Why oh why I forgot to bring my bottle of olive oil back with me.

Stretchmark are often a result of rapid stretching of the skin associated with rapid growth or rapid weight changes. Stretch marks formed during pregnancy, usually during the last trimester, and usually on the belly, but also commonly occurring on the breasts, thighs, hips, lower back and buttocks. Source from Wiki.

I'm on the last trimester of my pregnancy stage, and due to that maybe it start to feel very itchy as the rapid growth of the baby inside (could it be? hahah).

However, I really need to find a cure for my unbeatable itchness or else, I would end up scratching to my heart content and the results would cry me a river after I'm delivering my baby!

Tudung

Assalammualaikum w.b.t.

I was in my class when suddenly my phone ringed twice. So after I finished my class, I rushed off to canteen to have a hot drink while rummaging through my phone. It was my husband sending me a story about a 11 year old boy who died because of hot fever. Before he went away, he wrote a note to his mother telling that he had saved few dollars for her mother to buy a proper baju kurung and tudung so that she can cover her body in a Muslimah way. So that her mother will not be burned during the Judgement Day.

So, it is a sad story.

But the saddest thing is...

He asked me to wear tudung, just like his late mother did.

I was...speechless. Yes, because I never thought that he will came to that point. And that he remember that I once told him that I want to wear purdah and burqa'.

Last night we had a conversation on how a man loved to see a girl, tho she wears hijab, but the trendy and fashionable hijab like todays. Not the lame and old fashioned hijab. But insist on having his wife following the same trend. It was quite irony.

Then my husband said that, something nice to see must not be something nice to have.

I don't think I can change the way I'm wearing in just a blink of an eye.

Educating Children :: Duit Raya

Posted by kaki ayam a.k.a. ceker at 8/13/2013 09:34:00 AM 0 comments Links to this post
Assalammualaikum w.b.t.

We're so used of having angpao or duit raya during Eid Mubarak until our children seeing it as something needed instead of going asking for apologize. I remember when I was in standard 4, collecting duit raya is something fun to do especially when we're with our friends and we start to stop by at any houses. That is what Eid Mubarak means to me instead of celebrating it after the month of Ramadhan.

When I grow up, I realise the collection I have is not as much as I have before. And I start to wonder why. Maybe because of my age, my size or maybe because I was in form 5, that means I'm 17 years!

When I start working, it's my turn to give what tradition and custom start to teach me before. I prepared duit raya for about 50 packs and to my surprise, the kids coming to my house looking inside of it and making funny faces. They left the packs on the table and took only the money. They even talks about the amount just before they step out of our house!

Then I learn that maybe I should educate kids nowadays. Instead of giving them, I want them to come, salaam me and at least say 'Selamat Hari Raya' before I give them one of the green packets. Because I saw what my parents did when we went to houses, they start looking for the children who was watching television to give the green packets, that didn't even bothered my parents when they went into the house. The parents didn't teach their kids to salaam the older people and respect when people come.

So, what I saw was my parents usually will say 'Ok, acik nak balik dah ni. Nah,' and my parents will give the packs to the kids, the kids didn't even blink their eyes from the telly!

Nah, this is what I did this time. When we went for beraya, I didn't look for the children. Only if they come, salaam me before I went back, then I took out the green packet. Same goes to the children that went to my house.

I talk to my sisters, knowing that they still collecting it, I told them what I did. And that Syawal means we're looking for apologize and connecting to each other, knowing our relatives and so on, and it's more that just collecting green packets. So if you have it, syukran. If not, let's enjoy the fun we have travelling from one place to another.

Of Hari Raya and Durian

Posted by kaki ayam a.k.a. ceker at 8/12/2013 05:05:00 PM 0 comments Links to this post
Assalammualaikum w.b.t.

Dua hari sebelum Aidilfitri, aku hampir-hampir saja ditahan di hospital kerana mengalami kontraksi hari sebelumnya. Kus semangat tak kena tahan. Kalau tak, mau beraya kat wad bersalin aku ni.

Huhu. Punyalah plan nak goreng kuetiaw, tak sempat. Sampai Maokil dah pukul lima setengah, aku sempat gorengkan naget ayam jek. Hee untungnya Umi dah buat sup tulang. Feberet den!

Sepanjang dia cuti, sekali jek dia puji aku masak sedap. Iaitu sandwich sardin! Huhu.

Elok pulak semalam time dia bertolak tu, hujan. Huwaa lagi la risau berduyun-duyun aku dibuatnya.

Jadinya, setiap sejam aku akan call dia tanya dia dah sampai mana. Risau beb. Aku jugak bawakkan goody bag untuk dia. Hikhik. Dari time bercintan lagi aku ni memang suka bekalkan dengan goody bag. Cuma dulu time bercintan, aku bekalkan coklat je lah. Namanya memang menjijikkan sikit.

Kurang plak daya nak ambik gambo tahun ni. Biasanya rajin je aku amik gambo, tapi sebab tahun ni punya raya aku sibuk kat dapur, pastu keletihan, emm...terpaksa aku lupakan sebentar kegemaran aku tu.

Cuti masih berbaki lagi 5 hari, seronoknya~
